We recently had a request to post some educational/informational links about Pyometra; we do so as an awareness reminder and educational tip.
Pyometra is a disease of the uterus which can lead to death if not treated and toxicity occurs. It can strike any in tact female after her heat cycle or after giving birth. Although we hope none of us is ever faced with this condition, we feel it is best to be educated and aware.
We post these links for a very special person who, in turn, hopes to use their sad experience to help educate and/or remind us of this condition and what symptoms to watch for.
