Mia and Saber came to Babbling Brook Shilohs from Ocean State Shilohs in RI in 2004 as they are from the August 2004 D'Argo/Stacia litter of eight, bred by Nancy Ponte.

Mia, brCH Ocean State's Mia Bella Donna, as well as her brother Saber, brCH Ocean State's Saber by My Side, have both done well in the conformation ring obtaining their Breed Championships and Rarities International Championships. Currently their respective progeny are showing and doing well in the conformation ring as well, carrying on the family tradition as Saber and Mia have Apollo as their grand-sire. Apollo — GVabmrCH Gemini's Apollo Rocket, CGC; owned by Dotty and Tony Piscitelli of Gemini Shilohs in NY — is the (first-ever) Rarities Supreme Grand Champion of Supreme Grand Champions in 2003 and 2004 as well as many other outstanding conformation achievements.
